Terms of Service

CRC Toolbox is provided as an operational utility for clinical research sites. Please read these terms before using the tools.

Last updated July 2026

1. Operational Utility Only

CRC Toolbox provides client-side computational assistants (Kit Expiration Tracker, Cohort Kit Tracker, Lab Specimen Workbench, Deviation Log Assistant, Equipment Calibration, Visit Window Calculator, QTc & BSA, Cockcroft-Gault CrCl, ECOG↔Karnofsky converter, SAE Timeline & GCP, Toxicity / CTCAE Grader). These tools are designed to assist with operational workflows. The final responsibility for protocol adherence, data accuracy, and clinical compliance remains solely with the user and the clinical research site. Tools are provided “as-is.”

2. Strict Zero-PHI Policy

You are strictly prohibited from entering Protected Health Information (PHI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII) into any fields on this platform. Use operational protocol data only (for example kit counts, lot numbers, anonymized logistics notes, or de-identified numeric inputs for calculators). Do not enter patient names, initials, dates of birth, medical record numbers, identifiable safety narratives, or free-text adverse event descriptions tied to a subject.

3. Local-First Data Processing

Kit inventories, lab visit setups, deviation drafts, equipment logs, and visit-window settings may be kept in this browser’s localStorage on the workstation you are using and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Data persists across browser restarts until you clear it (use Clear all local site data on shared clinic computers) or export a Session Backup. Clinical calculators, renal/performance estimates, SAE/GCP helpers, and the CTCAE grader run in ephemeral browser memory and are not persisted. The only exception is voluntary waitlist or contact submissions described in section 4.

4. Communications

If you voluntarily submit your email address via our waitlist or contact forms, your message is transmitted via our form provider (Formspree) solely for business updates and product notifications. Product follow-ups are sent from hello@crctoolbox.com. Formspree may set a technical cookie on its own domain during submission; we do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not load Formspree’s hosted pages or ad scripts into this site. Session backups and printable templates stay in your browser unless you choose to download or print them locally — we do not email workspace JSON or PDF attachments containing site data. Do not include PHI or patient identifiers in those forms. We do not sell or share your contact information.

Administrative reference only. Browser-local tools — not a medical device, CDSS, or Part 11 system. Verify outputs against protocol SOPs and primary site records. Zero-PHI local mode: do not enter names, MRNs, DOBs, or subject IDs. Study / kit / lab / deviation / IP accountability / equipment / regulatory / visit drafts use this workstation's localStorage until you clear them. On shared clinic PCs, clear all local site data when finished.
